Vermont Leadership Institute Application
The Snelling Center for Government invites members of the public, non-profit, and private sectors to apply for admission to the Vermont Leadership Institute. The application process is highly competitive, with up to twenty-six associates selected on the basis of their professional achievements, demonstrated interest in the community, and potential for leadership. The VLI Class of 2009 began its training in September of 2008. Most day sessions take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Each session requires some advance preparation. We ask associates to apply their learning to a personal leadership plan.
The Snelling Center for Government is a non-profit, non-partisan organization. VLI encourages applicants from a variety of perspectives and welcomes ideological diversity.
Applications for the Class of 2010 will be available in January 2009.

Completed applications must be postmarked by March 27, 2009 and include a nonrefundable $25 fee. We conduct interviews in April and May, and inform candidates of their status in late May.
