Creative Economy

The Snelling Center for Government has worked with a number of partners including The Vermont Council on Rural Development, the University of Vermont, local business and legislative leaders to strategize on Vermont's Creative Economy. In 2003, The Snelling Center for Government created the CREDability Initiative (Creative and Restorative Economic Development) a group of concerned citizens from the public and private sectors brought together to advance Vermont's Creative Economy. More recent works completed include a white paper on Burlington's Creative Economy and a presentation by Snelling Center Intern Michael Loner at the 2004 Sustainable Communities Conference. Links are provided below to each of these initiatives.
